PGSP Announces 2012 Student Stylist Competition at ABS

For the second edition of the P&G Salon Professional Student Stylist competition, supporters from cosmetology schools, educators and hundreds of other visitors to America’s Beauty Show were joined by thousands of virtual attendees.

Fabio Sementilli, Creative Director P&G Salon Professional North America, observed: “The Second Annual Student Competition at ABS was incredible. The quality of work that we received this year from all the entrants was so strong that judging to select the finalists was very difficult. And the students were all so confidant—both backstage as they prepared for the final judging and on stage. They were ready to ‘rock ‘n inspire’ and that they did. Our industry is in good hands!”
The jury for the event featured such industry stars as Sonya and Christopher Dove, Paul Nasrallah, Omar Antonio, Paul Vega, Oliver Adams, Anita Gutierrez, Sasha Zoghi, Diane Stevens and Phillip Ferreira making the difficult decision about who should take home a check for $1,000, an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles, CA to attend Wella Professionals North American Trend Vision Awards (NATVA), a one-year supply of PGSP products, and their choice of an in-school education course taught by a top PGSP educator. Not an easy task at all!
