This year, America’s Beauty Show in Chicago will be celebrating the centennial of Cosmetologists Chicago (CC). From March 3rd to 5th, 7000 salon owner, professional, and student CC members will descend on the Windy City together with more than 30,000 others to kick off three days of education, inspiration and entertainment.
The ABS Runway programs reads like a Who’s Who of hairdressing, including: Nick Arrojo, Beth Minardi, Angelo Seminara, Tabatha Coffey, Enzo Milano, Wayne Grund for Surface, and Farouk Systems Team with Miss Universe, Leila Lopes. The Wella show will feature Mark Hayes & the Sassoon Creative Team and Paul Marallah, Omar Antonio, Sonya and Christopher Dove with Wella’s International TrendVision.
As always, the ABS exhibition floor will be brimming with all the companies and products professionals are looking for, including American Crew, Aquage, ARROJO, Avalon, Bioelements, Bio Ionic, Clairol, CND, Dashing Diva, Farouk, FHI Heat, Ion Color Brilliance, J Beverly Hills, Kenra, Keratin Complex, Michael O’Rourke Rock Your Hair, MoroccanOil, Nioxin, Pravana, Schwarzkopf, Scruples, Sebastian, TIGI, Vidal Sassoon and Wella.
Special features include Goldwell’s announcement of its “Don’t Try This at Home” initiative. One of the biggest highlights promises to be the announcement of the The P&G Salon Professional Student Stylist Competition. Cosmetologists Chicago will also announce prized scholarships and the STARS awards, including the Leo Passage Gold Trophy.
