...but thanks to the magic of International Creative Director Damien Carney and fashion superstar Whitney Port, Joico's newest 'Drab to Fab' Webisode takes a smoking-hot approach to everyone's favorite gritty-city style. Playing with surprising contradictions, like an uptown updo and downtown dressing, our pros compose a look that's both feisty and feminine... and a cinch to replicate at home!

"We took a structured look, and made it easy enough for any girl on the street to create on her own", explains Carney, who turns a badass bun (the hottest hair shape for 2014) into an angular, headlining hairdo – with a bit of sectioning and the help of everyone's favorite Firm-Hold Power Gel. Port finishes the set with easy-yet-edgy staples from her new Whitney Eve Spring Collection: a graphic tee, oversize boyfriend shirt, glam-slam statement necklace, and super-comfy shorts in unexpected leather. "We're bringing a polished look to something that's typically boyish and busy", says Port of this "tough" trend. Think: Rebel... just because.
