Drool worthy! PRAVANA challenged Artistic Educator and #showusyourvivids educator contest winner Hannah Lovin to see if she would accept: create a ‘90’s cereal-inspired hair color look!

SPOILER ALERT: Hannah uses a ring technique similar to that of the cereal you’re picturing in your head!

Want to recreate this? Check out the formula here:

Formula 1: VIVIDS GREEN + a few drops of VIVIDS BLUE
Formula 2: VIVIDS NEON GREEN + a few drops VIVIDS GREEN
Formula 3: VIVIDS BLUE + a few drops VIVIDS GREEN
Formula 4: VIVIDS AQUAMARINE + a few drops VIVIDS BLUE
Formula 5: VIVIDS WILD ORCHID + a few drops of VIVIDS BLUE
Formula 6: VIVIDS WILD ORCHID + kick of NEON GREEN
Formula 7: Equal parts VIVIDS ORANGE + VIVIDS MAGENTA
Formula 8: VIVIDS WILD ORCHID
Formula 9: VIVIDS MAGENTA
Formula 10: VIVIDS NEON YELLOW

Step 1
● Starting in the back, part the hair in a diagonal section from the bottom of the left ear to the top of the right ear
● In a vertical application, apply F1 at the base to create a shadow root
● Color melt F2 from the line of demarcation through the ends

Step 2
● Part the hair from the top of the right ear to the left temple in a diagonal line, to create a triangular section. Continue parting the hair in this zig-zag pattern up to the top of the head.
● Apply Formula 3 and 4 using the same shadow root and color melt techniques as the previous step

Step 3
● Section the hair in another triangular section and color melt Formulas 4-5

Step 4
● Divide the hair in the final diagonal section
● Carve out a 2” semi-circle on the right side of the hairline and pin out of the way
● Apply Formulas 7, 8, and 9 using a color melt technique

Step 5
● The remaining semi-circle section represents the “color changing spoon”
● Apply VIVIDS Wild Orchid at the base to create a 1/2” shadow root
● Color melt VIVIDS Magenta into VIVIDS NEON YELLOW through the end
