Who Ever Said Uniformity has to be Boring? Meet Redken's New Chromatics Ultra Rich Shades

Tuesday, 03 February 2015 15:49

The look that has been populating fashion runways and the streets of Europe has been taken to new depths with Redken’s NEW! Chromatics Ultra Rich shades, offering up to 100% gray coverage with Redken’s first-ever true monochromatic color for results that are rich, solid and saturated with mirror-like shine!

Featuring the same, fortifying formulas that are both odor-free and ammonia-free, this new innovation from Chromatics is oil-powered by the exclusive ODS2 (Oil Delivery System) and Protein Extract technology, a mixture of dyes, oils and protein extracts that surround the hair cuticle and ultimately propel the dyes and protein extracts into the cortex. The end result is hair that is twice as fortified and infused with rich color with zero ammonia and zero odor.

"Trends, like ombre and balayage, may be popular looks but like all trends, they come and go. The monochromatic look, which covers and perfects the hair’s natural color, has been so popular in Europe and has proven it is here to stay,” says David Stanko, Redken Master Colorist. “Chromatics Ultra Rich creates this fullness and depth in color that we never had before. It leaves the hair looking and feeling luxurious, conditioned and with unprecedented gray coverage.”

The new oil-powered launch introduces 35 new shades in ten tonal families, including the NEW! Pearl family, a balance of ash and violet tones that counteract warmth and give the hair a pearl-like tonality. From rich chocolate browns to luscious full-bodied blondes, Chromatics Ultra Rich provides more options for deeper levels with minimal variation from root to ends, as well as between strands. Breaking boundaries even further is Redken’s innovative endorsement of Brazilian model and anti-bullying and equality advocate Lea T. who showcases her lustworthy color in the Chromatics Ultra Rich print and social media campaigns.
