Redhead Alert! Vanessa Hudgens goes Red for Fall!

Reds are making a serious comeback for Fall 2014. Look no further than “red hot” actresses like Christina Hendricks and fresh-faced models Nataline Westling and Anniek Kortleve for proof that red is the shade of the moment.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens trusted the ladies of Nine Zero One Salon, the go-to salon for young Hollywood, to transform her ombré blonde lob into a multidimensional red ombré with vibrant pops of color. “Vanessa is a color chameleon and was ready for a change,” says Riawna Capri, stylist and co-owner of Nine Zero One Salon. Through the Balayage color method, where color is “painted” on the hair, Nine Zero One stylists used L’Oréal Professionnel INOA, an ammonia-free permanent haircolor, to create Hudgen’s ombré look with rich red tones.

“We purposely left her roots dark to encourage easier maintenance, then colored the ends with various shades of red to create a multi-dimensional hue that was intensely vibrant,” says Nikki Lee, stylist and co-owner of Nine Zero One Salon. Amber Maynard, senior stylist at Nine Zero One Salon says, “The red color complements her skin tone and agrees with her personality. She is vibrant and has the ability to carry such a strong color.”

The latest from L’Oréal Professionnel INOA, INOA Carmilane provides a garnet red tone that delivers a vibrant color with the highest fade resistance, a major concern for those who go red.
