Lilac Aura Introduced As Goldwell’s Color of the Year

There is already something to celebrate in this new year. Goldwell has just announced its Color of the Year for 2021: Lilac Aura. The modern, fresh shade of pastel purple is launching today to colorists and beauty professionals around the world.

Hosted by Kao Salon Division, this has been the virtual event that has laid down the foundations for the future of global creative events of this kind in our industry.

Daniel Kaner, President and Co-Founder of Oribe Hair Care and brilliant conversationalist, talked with Estetica about the company’s joining forces with Kao Salon Division. We touched upon everything from synergies to development and roads less taken.

Goldwell just announced their new Global Ambassador, Angelo Seminara. As one of the most globally celebrated hairstylists, Seminara will create limited-edition collections and inspire innovation for Goldwell’s products and services. He will also represent the brand via social media and at press and industry events.

Kao is connecting with consumers who are sorely missing their barbers and hairdressers during COVID-19 forced closures, encouraging them to rethink all desperate DIY fixes, supporting the recovery of the Salon Industry.

Kao Salon Division, home of Goldwell, KMS and Oribe, introduces the Kao Salon Industry Recovery Initiative, a global/local program focused on helping salons recover and rebuild as they emerge from the COVID-19 crisis. 

Goldwell just announced its first annual Color of the Year: DIGITAL TEAL. The fusion of blue and green makes up Digital Teal. Its duality has a versatile and trans-seasonal appeal. On top of that, the saturation level adds a sense of confidence and gravitas.

Goldwell announces its Global Creative Awards

The year 2020 is the year of change for Goldwell as they introduce the Global Creative Awards – an entirely new global competition focused exclusively on creativity.

Goldwell is further expanding its range of digital education tools. Following the successful Education Plus App, Goldwell is launching the YouTube channel “Goldwell Education Plus” to offer its stylists new, inspiring videos every week as another valuable source of education – one that is available at any time.
