Get the Look: Richard James SS2016 Men's Trends styled by GO24·7's Antony Rawlings

Monday, 15 June 2015 21:41

The Richard James SS2016 'The Raffish Rebel' collection is based on the adventures of English Poet and surrealist Edward James. A quintessential english gentleman and poet who escaped the strictures of straight laced 1940s England for the Central American jungle.

The hair look styled by Antony Rawlings and the GO24•7 Styling Team compliments the vibrant, colour drenched collection, and represents the raffish rebel, an english gentleman fresh from the jungle, full of undone exuberance, and dishevelled charm. "The hair look was intentionally undone, as though our english gentleman began groomed but emerges onto the catwalk straight from the jungle, just a little dishevelled. The key was in achieving volume and texture at the prep stage," says lead stylist Antony Rawlings for GO24•7.

Get The Look:

  • – Apply a 2 x pound coin size amount of GO24•7 HAIR GEL liberally to damp hair, combing through with the fingers to create natural texture.
  • – Then blow dry roughly creating volume at the crown by pulling hair away from the scalp and applying heat directly at the roots. Scrunch hair for added undone raffish charm.
  • – Finally apply GO24•7 TEXTURE PASTE throughout the lengths of the hair to create added definition, and blast try with a cold dryer to set the look.
