Wednesday, 17 December 2014 21:50

Exciting news for the world of Makeup and Hair! The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science announced the shortlist this week for Makeup and Hairstyling for the upcoming Oscars in 2015 and we can already tell the final decision will come close!

Last year’s big win went to Adruitha Lee and Robin Mathews for 'Dallas Buyers Club.' This year’s winner should be interesting as the nominees come from different categories of movies from action to sci-fi and drama to name a few! Movies such as 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' whom we swooned over Gamora played by Zoe Saldana’s colorful hair. We also enjoyed the vintage makeup and hair in 'The Theory of Everything' and 'The Grand Budapest Hotel.'  Not to forget to mention the amazing transformation of Angelina Jolie into the popular character of 'Maleficent.'

Who do you think should win the Oscar for Best Makeup and Hairstyling? Here you have the shortlist:

  1. ● The Amazing Spider-Man 2
    ● Foxcatcher
    ● The Grand Budapest Hotel
    ● Guardians of the Galaxy
    ● Maleficent
    ● Noah
    ● The Theory of Everything
