NAHA 2014 Avant Garde Allstars: Pushing All Boundaries!

All in the industry know too well, that placing as a NAHA finalist is no easy task and can transform your career; which is why Estetica has decided to create a series honoring the 2014 NAHA finalists and winners!

The Avant Garde category is always full of surprises, bold visions, and flourished creativity.

The finalists for Avant Garde were:

  1. Chrystofer Benson (South Weber, UT)
  2. Jake Thompson (Salt Lake City, UT)
  3. Austin Finley (Dallas, TX)
  4. Ludovic Leroy (Verdun, QC)
  5. Silas Tsang (Ottawa, ON)

The winner was: Jake Thompson! His dark and striking collection focused on the use of different textures, creating a truly unforgettable result!

Known by all in the industry as “the Oscars of hair,” the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) is the preeminent photographic hairstyling competition in the U.S. and is renowned internationally. This year marked NAHA's 25th Anniversary as the most prestigious photographic beauty competition in North America and took place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
