How-To! Lady Gaga's Queen of Metal Look by Frederic Aspiras

Monday, 13 February 2017 15:35

Lady Gaga set the 2017 Grammy Awards red carpet & main stage on fire with a 'Queen of Metal' look ready to rock the night along with trash metal legends Metallica. Her wild hair look was created by celebrity hairstylist Frederic Aspiras using ghd tools & products. Learn HOW TO!

To start, Frederic prepped Lady Gaga’s damp hair with the ghd total volume foam ($24.00), massaging it from hair root to tip then combing through.

Next Frederic sectioned the hair before blow drying. He sprayed each section with the ghd heat protect spray ($22.00) and then brushed through once more using the ghd paddle brush ($35.00). Then he blew out the hair using the ghd air™ ELITE ($169) and ghd natural bristle brush 3 ($45.00) to ensure a smooth finish before curling.

Once dried, Frederic sectioned the hair and sprayed each piece with the ghd curl hold spray ($24.00) before curling with the ghd curve® classic curl iron ($199.00). Once the curls cooled after 5-10 minutes, Frederic brushed them out with the ghd oval dressing brush ($40.00), he added a drop of the ghd smooth & finish serum ($24.00) to the brush and tied it up into a ponytail.

Then using the ghd gold professional 1” styler ($199.00), Frederic added smaller curls for volume and texture to the ponytail and tendrils. To finish off the look, Frederic added a few drops of the ghd smooth & finish serum ($24.00) to give the hair a nice gloss and ten topped it off with a layer of hairspray.
