Today, the 8 remaining global finalists are starring the second part of the amazing photoshoot lead by the world-renowned photographer and founder of American Crew, David Raccuglia. The aim of the photoshoot is to create a winning look to compete for the coveted title of Global Winner of the 2014-2015 All-Star Challenge. Next Monday, the spectacular Awards Ceremony will take place at the end of the American Crew Trends Presentation at Fiera Roma.

The All-Star Challenge competition combines the key aspects of the art and science in men’s grooming and style. This includes the cut, the model and the photograph and brings them all together to deliver the ultimate interpretation of the American Crew Man.

Meet today’s 8 finalists:

Inger Lisa Moa (Norway) What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?Eirik Thorsen, the owner of Adam og Eva Grensen, has been quite a mentor to me. The best advice he gave me was to have fun.”

Jaime Ruiz Tello (Peru) How has American Crew + men’s grooming influenced your styling?American Crew has given me the ability to see and do new things. The products help me fully express my talent as a hairstylist.”

Krzysztof Chodorski (Poland) What was the inspiration for your winning style and what products did you use to create it?I took inspiration from All-Star Challenge finalists from past years, and kept the look simple with Grooming Spray and Forming Cream.”

Raul Santana (Spain) How did you feel when you won the National competition?#inmensamentefeliz The All-Star Challenge is very motivating, no matter the result. I would recommend that all men’s stylists participate, so they can create a collection and show it to the world.”

Homan Taghizadeh (Sweden) What was the inspiration for your winning style and what products did you use to create it?I often find inspiration in modern but classic styles and expressions. Lately I have been very inspired by the series “Peaky Blinders.” For my winning look, I was very motivated by the model, his personality and his mannerisms. This enabled me to find and create a really strong and expressive look with my own touch, using American Crew Forming Cream.”

Leonard Cakolli (Switzerland) What’s your favorite male celebrity hairstyle?David Beckham – he’s always a trendsetter with his various hairstyles. And as a soccer player myself, I look up to him for his talent as well.”

Sergiy Shapochka (Ukraine) How did you feel when you won the National competition?#on_my_way_to_win The All-Star Challenge represents a new level of professionalism that I’m reaching towards. It means raising myself to new standards, gaining additional experience, expanding my repertoire, and doing whatever possible to become the best.”

Alyssa Brasket (USA) What was the inspiration for your winning style? Many of the men I know are growing out their hair, so I started with the idea of a pompadour but wanted to give it a more natural look and flow. I pulled inspiration from the styles within films like “Casablanca” and “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” but added modern techniques including a short fade and feathering.”
