Davines World Wide Hair Tour Conquers London!

The Davines annual World Wide Hair Tour arrived in London this weekend to showcase the brand’s core-values and commitment to beauty – a value which was translated into harmony, good taste and individuality throughout the event.

After Berlin, Miami and Paris, this year it was the turn of London. The venue: the stunningly stylish Art Deco Freemason’s Hall in the heart of Covent Garden. Davines brought together several of the finest names in the international hairdressing to showcase their creativity and talent in front of a captivated and often very excited audience!

Allilon
Allilon is the brainchild of Johnny Othona and Pedro Inchenko – two highly successful London-based hairdressers, who, through their business creative base of Ena Salon, are renowned for their innovation and dedication to the craft of hairdressing. Their show was a real tribute to their team’s commitment to education, and featured many easily adaptable, yet extremely useful cutting and finishing techniques which the audience could take back to their own salons. This is a feature of the educational courses that they run at their London Academy.

Angelo Seminara
Angelo has been Davines Artistic Director since 2011 and is a huge ambassador for the brand. A firm fixture working backstage at shows in Paris, New York, London and Milan, he has collaborated with celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Giselle Bundchen and Gwyneth Paltrow. Inspired by nature and the world around him, Angelo’s innovative style and eye for the creative and the niche is truly second to none. An undisputed world-wide hair icon, Angelo’s laid back, relaxed stage presentation totally wowed the audience at the London event. He claims “not to be a great showman” yet every time he appears on-stage he is adored by audiences everywhere, thanks to his great ability to convey complex cutting techniques in a simple easy-to-understand way.

International Teams
With a truly international line-up, the show also included representations by Samuel Rocher, boasting Parisian Elegance and a firm philosophy that “quality does not mean excess”. Danish duo, Brian Suhr and Kirsten Demant gave voice to Davines style around the world and whose work on dialogue and experimentation in search of the most authentic cues, captures changes of fashion in real time. Anna Pacitto visited from Canada, where as co-counder of Salon Pure in Las Cours Mont Royal her salon offers award-winning service to its discerning clientele who demand elegance and innovative style – defining features of her London show.
