Friday, 05 September 2014 21:17

To continue the success and excitement of the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) 25th Anniversary, PBA and Michael Shaun Corby have developed a 3-part web series to introduce NAHA to emerging stylists and first-time entrants.

Known as the Oscars of Hair, NAHA is the preeminent photographic hairstyling competition in the U.S. and is internationally renowned. Placing as a NAHA finalist can forever alter the course of a beauty professional's career, enhance technical skill and forge lasting professional relationships.

The third and final webinar of this 3-part series will take place Monday, September 8 at 1:00 pm EDT. Michael Shaun Corby, NAHA committee member and Global Creative Director of Alterna Haircare, Charlie Price, two-time NAHA Hairstylist of the Year Award winner, Sherri Jessee, award-winning editorial hairstylist, and Damien Carney, Founder of DC Professional will guide attendees through the "before," "during" and "after" stages of their NAHA photo shoot.

They will also discuss session planning, team building and management, and working with a photographer on any budget. This panel will provide an intimate look at the hairstyling competition that has put countless industry professionals on the map. This 75-minute session also includes a Q&A with the panel.

Those interested can participate in this session to get an insider's perspective on how to successfully navigate their NAHA photo shoot. Past NAHA webinar topics include the benefit of entering NAHA and what NAHA judges look for when evaluating entries.
