Oribe Hair Care casts Top Digital Influencers for Brand Video Campaign

Oribe Hair Care just announced the launch of its influencer video campaign, featuring notable names such as Sonya Esman, Deepica Mutyala, Jade Kendle, Lyn Slater, and Paloma Elsesser.

The videos, which launched October 25, are live on Oribe.com and be shared across the brand’s and influencer’s social platforms over the next three months, show the women being styled by Oribe Global Ambassador and renowned editorial hairstylist James Pecis.

Each influencer was hand selected for her expertise within the beauty industry. They will each share their favorite products and styling techniques, reaching a combined total of almost 3.4 million followers. The influencers include:

• Instagram and YouTube legend Sonya Esman (@sonyaesman) of “Class is Internal,” who reaches a widespread audience with 1.7 million Instagram followers and over 327K YouTube subscribers.
Deepica Mutyala (@deepicam), an on-air beauty expert and TODAY Show Style Tastemaker whose YouTube video on how to mask under eye circles with red lipstick went viral, garnering over 9 million views from women all over the world.
• YouTube beauty star Jade Kendle (@_lipstickncurlss_) of “LipsticknCurls,” who has over 175K subscribers and is a hair expert, providing how-tos on her own channel for natural, curly styles.
• Professor-turned-blogger Lyn Slater (@accidentalicon) who provides aspirational goals for older women and will be the face of Oribe’s upcoming product launch in January.
• Model Paloma Elsesser (@palomija), who has become an Instagram sensation with almost 54K followers, and is a spokesperson for diversity in the fashion and beauty industries.

We sought to cast a diverse group of experts in the beauty industry to speak directly to a wide range of ethnicities and ages, and most importantly, hair textures,” said Caitlin Gaffey, Vice President of Marketing, Oribe Hair Care. “We hope these videos will reach and inspire a broad scope of people all around the world.

The videos consist of compelling editorial content created by James Pecis, as well as easy-to-follow how-tos that showcase the brand’s latest launches and hero products.
