Show Recap: Premiere Orlando 2016 embraces its Emphatic Success!

The East Coast’s top beauty fair of the season, Premiere Orlando, was composed of the two massive stages and 7.3 acres of exhibition floor. It was packed with the top brands in haircare, nails & beauty, with innovations, launches, competitions, and of course, the most inventive looks using these top tools!

Almost 60,000 attendees that collectively represent all 50 states and 35 countries, this is bound to be an unforgettable infusion of everything that it means to “work in beauty.”

Premiere Orlando gave attendees the exclusive opportunity to meet, learn and mentor from the beauty professional leaders they look up to most. This year’s experiences included an adventure with Robert Cromeans, personal workshops to meet with besties with Candy Shaw, the ultimate hangout with Jan Arnold, glamorous session with Anna Cantu, slaying brows with Kelley Baker, #insta Beauty with Larisa Love and after party with Sam Villa!

The Hair Color Stage was the place you needed to be in to see the top colorists firsthand the latest in strobing, balayage, fashion colors, tips and techniques. Color experts includes MATRIX’s Chrystofer Benson, Balay Lama Candy Shaw; Redken’s Justin Isaac, Product Club’s David Velasco and Adrienne Rogers, Paul Mitchell’s Color Team, L’ANZA’s Leah Freeman, Keratin Complex’s Deborah Gavin, Sherry Ratay and Instagram star Larisa Love.

Premiere’s Main Stage defined upcoming trends, creating a global stance on Hair with educators like Paul Mitchell’s Robert Cromeans; Christopher Dove and John Simpson; Sassoon Academy’s Mark Hayes, Redken’s Sam Villa; Martin Parsons; Tracey Hughes; Farouk’s Anna Cantu; RUSK Creative Team; and BaBylissPro Team.

In addition to hair cutting, styling and coloring, Premiere classes covered texture hair, extensions, weaves, barbering, nails, dayspa, makeup, business and personal development. With a continued demand for men’s hair and makeup education, Premiere has doubled education in these areas. Smart beauty professionals used their single show pass for the 440 different class options to stay up-to-date. Through hands-on experiences at Premiere Orlando, Martin Parsons, Christopher Dove and John Simpson, spoke about topics in color, advanced cutting, barbering, extensions, nails filing, nail art, makeup, threading, eyelash and eyebrow extensions.

And the barbers of the world had a lot to see this year. Fades, beards, clipper cutting or modern styles, were covered by Andis Company, Wahl Professional, Ivan Zoot and Greg Zorian who showed up to Orlando with the latest education and tools. Eric Pacinos, spoke on the latest fades and international barber David Diggs, focused on his expertise, clipper cutting techniques.
