The Goldwell Expert Panel is thrilled to announce this year’s U.S. Finalists for the 2017 Goldwell Color Zoom Challenge. Leading colorists from across the country submitted entries for one of the three Color Zoom Challenge Categories –Creative Colorist, New Talent Colorist and Partner Colorist.

Iconic David Bowie's alter ego Ziggy Stardust served as the inspiration for KMS Global Style Council Member, Lori Panarello and Goldwell Artistic Director, Rebecca Hiele, when creating the model's color and cut made of an eclectic mix of a 50’s pompadour meets 70’s rock and roll mullet meets punk. 

The Goldwell expert panel is thrilled to announce the 2017 Goldwell Color Zoom Challenge U.S. Semi-Finalists. For the competition, leading hair colorists from across the country submitted their entries for one of the three Categories – Creative Colorist, New Talent Colorist, and Partner Colorist.

Goldwell Artistic Director, Rebecca Hiele, created a look inspired by a music icon to embrace the fashion of the disco era. The texture finish created by Hiele was inspired by the diffusion of three textures that play with the direction of the hair and allow it to look as if it is in constant floating or moving.

Inspired by the fashion runways and color forecasts for Spring and Summer 2017, Goldwell National Artist, Nick Pagano (@nickpaganohairdesign), created an amazing textured look with color. Learn HOW TO!

KMS National Artist, Karen Cunningham created a second day hair look inspired to reflect the day after a night out. The look was created to convey the woman’s feeling of empowerment, sexiness and sense of disheveled, awkwardness.

On April 2nd, Goldwell and KMS held the annual Hair Play International celebration at Gotham Hall in New York City. Hosted by KMS Curator Simon Miller, the highly-anticipated event, which showcased the latest in hair trends and techniques from both of the brands’ talented teams, welcomed 500
attendees, including top industry tastemakers and the hottest salon professionals.

Goldwell Regional Artistic Team Member, Steven Picciano’s (@steviewondaz) inspiration for the Electric Apricot Look came from three sources: the shape and design of the haircut, the model’s complexion and eye color, tied to Pantone’s color of spring 2017.

Goldwell just announced Daniel Martin, world-renowned editorial hairstylist, as the brand’s new Global Styling Ambassador.
