Step by Step: A Touch of Old Hollywood by Patrick Cameron

A look right out of the pages of Old Hollywood – this updo of halo twisted curls will give that final touch of glamour to any beauty who is trying to achieve that style icon, Elizabeth Taylor look. This hair is a true vision of vintage elegance by the great hairdressing master Patrick Cameron.

  • 1. Section hair into a halo shape and hair grip to hold, leave a small fringing section out at the front to style later.



  • 2. Rope twist as many sections as you would like.



  • 3. Completed back view of 11 sections.



  • 4. Taking a very fine strand of hair from the end of the rope twist, hold it and slide rope twist towards base.



  • 5. All the back area is now ready for styling.



  • 6. Tuck all the tails in and shape as desired.



  • 7. Repeat same procedure for front area.



  • 8. The texture looks amazing and the shape is like a halo effect.



  • 9. Tong a small section at the front using the Babyliss Conical medium tong.



  • 10. Brush out and place Patrick Cameron butterfly waving clips to create waves.



  • 11. Finished look from front.



  • 12. An amazing style!
