Thursday, 25 January 2018 15:40

The Art of Making was created from the mentorship elements of the hairdressing industry – “How do I create a class that gives the same intensity and direction to hairdressers as a solid mentorship relationship? Thus The Art of Making or TAOM was created: a journey into the creative mind.

The Art of Making is a 2-day game-changing course for all levels of stylist from beginner to advanced, with conversations in design and shape and the elements in hairdressing techniques. Building confidence in ones’ work is the mantra for the course, working with ideas “from the chair™” to “beyond editorial™” also separate classes Haase teaches in his studio, in the discipline of styling and design.

The class is built around the history of Haase’s mentors and what he has learned from them and that he is now sharing in The Art of Making as well as out of the box thinking for the serious artist. “Styling is such an intricate and intense part of what we do and demands complete control and clarity in hair design”, Haase says, “it is an ongoing journey of discovery in educating oneself”.

The course includes creative styling, shape building, design and much more! Attendees will be invited to attend an exclusive Editorial photoshoot with the opportunity to shoot their own model alongside Michael Haase!
