Inspired by the latest fashion trends seen on the runway of romantic fabrics and colors, Goldwell National Artist, Nick Pagano, created a new Rise Blonde look. Rise is a warm blonde shade that incorporates cool tones and brilliant pastel accents. Learn HOW-TO!

The color palette used to create the Rise Blonde look included buttermilk, creamy yellow, periwinkle, antique rose and sea glass green.

Formulation:
A) 35 ml SilkLift 6% (20vol) lotion + 1 scoop of SilkLift High Performance Lightener + 3 pumps of Intensive Conditioning Serum Concentrate.
B) 20ml NB@10 + 10ml GB@9 + 1ml YY@all
C) Sea Glass Green:  1ml Elumen Tq@all + 5ml SV@10 + 20ml SB@10
D) Perrriwinkle: 20ml Elumen SV@10 + 10ml SB@10 + 3ml Tq@all
E) Antique Rose: 20ml Elumen AB@9 + 5ml NA@8 + 2ml Pk@all

Step1: First, start by pre-lighting the hair with formula A. Use a stronger face framing pattern. This can be done in a block color technique (use macro sections to pre-lighten) Sections should start just behind the temple on the round of the head. Place 3 macro section back to back, then leave a 1/2inch section out and repeat above the round of the head.

Step 2: Lighten to desired level. Then, shampoo with Dualsenses Color Shampoo.

Step 3: Next, apply Goldwell New Blonde to damp hair and process for 5 minutes.

Step 4: Once processed, shampoo and condition with Elumen Wash and Treat. Then, apply Elumen Prepare to pre-lighten sections and dry the hair.

Step 5: Then, resection hair to isolate pre-lightened hair and color the remaining hair with formula B.

Step 6: Next, in your pre-lightened sections take horizontal micro sections and paint formula C in a one-inch section beginning at the root. Then feather the color into the remaining hair.  This base formula will help to anchor and integrate subsequent shades for a water color effect.

Step 7: The, overlaying formula D, painting using a V formation. This will create an intermediate color when placed over formula C. These colors should be melted into each other seamlessly.

Step 8: To achieve the Antique Rose effect, apply formula E as follows: Melt Antique Rose formula with Sea Glass Green and Perrriwinkle to create a strong, yet muted blend of accent shades.

Observe the process time. Shampoo twice with Elumen Wash, Towel dry well and apply Elumen Lock for 5 minutes. Rinse well and condition with Elumen Treat.
