Haley Edwards is the beauty professional behind the incredible Instagram account @IvoryRoseHair. She has been in the hair industry for 16 years and he talent is evident through her subtle take on the vivid trend.

Edwards loves to cater to all walks of life, keeping vivids classy, beautiful and wearable for the shy clients to give them the confidence they need to try something different. She particularly loves the statement that a true vivid client can offer.

"I love creating beautiful hair,” says Edwards. “It's an art form to me, I especially love beautiful vivids.”

Learn how to recreate the look:

Step 1: Started of with 6 week old Color which was a base of lightener and 20vol highlights with a base tint 9.3, 20 vol Fanola with faded out Pravana Vivids on the ends.

Step 2: I sectioned off 3 triangle panels to prelighten for the Rainbow Vivids.

Step 3: I began color correction by choosing a target shade of Fanola 5.29.

Step 4: I filled with equal parts 6.4 and 6.6 with water (1:1) mixed until creamy and applied to hair and combed off the excess product. Do Not Rinse!

Step 5: I applied 70grams Fanola 5.29, 10 grams 5.03 10vol straight over filled sections.

Step 6: I Processed for 40mins .

While the tint was processing I applied lightener and 20vol to triangle panels and processed up to level 9/10 for approximately 20mins.

Step 6: Washed off lightener and tint, shampooed and dried the hair ready to apply Pravana vivid customised shades.

My inspiration behind this particular client was a true sea change, with a hint of mermaid,” said Edwards.
