Discover the New Face of Redken Education

Renowned Redken Exchange will call a new Fifth Avenue address ‘home’ as it relocates to a newly-renovated space with cutting-edge technology in March 2016.

Redken is excited to announce that nearly twenty years after openings its doors at 565 Fifth Avenue in 1996, the Redken Exchange will relocate its renowned training facility and Redken Gallerie to a newly-renovated Fifth Avenue location.

Located at 404 Fifth Avenue and several blocks south of its existing location, the Exchange’s new 9,100 square-foot space was designed by Allen + Killcoyne Architects who is also designer of Hudson Yards, the largest development in New York City since Rockefeller Center and future home to all L’Oréal brands.

In March 2016, the Redken Exchange will officially open its doors for its first classes which will be part of a brand new Redken curriculum and held within a spacious 72-seat classroom. The curriculum will feature many favorite existing classes including “Destination NAHA”, facilitated by Kris Sorbie, Ellen Lawlor and Ruth Roche, along with a variety of brand new classes that include “Blonde Idol – Balayage” facilitated by Kris Sorbie, Adam Browne and Sean Godard; “Redken Underground” facilitated by Hugo Urias, Justin Isaac and Sean Godard; “Outside the Lines” facilitated by Sam Villa, Justin Isaac, Tara Gardiner, Sarah Bramham and Jesse Linares; and “Making the Cut” facilitated by Chris Baran, Sam Villa and Hugo Urias.

Redken has always been at the forefront of the industry’s latest techniques and technology and the Redken Exchange is no exception,” says Sheri Doss, VP Education, Redken Worldwide. “The past twenty years have been an incredible journey filled with many milestones and now with the new Exchange, we will have a space that brings to life the latest industry advances and gives us the proper tools to help the stylist community excel in all that they do for years to come.”

The state-of-the-art space will also feature a new multimedia station and testing area where stylists can experiment with Redken’s latest technology and product launches, as well as a redesigned Redken Gallerie where stylists can purchase their favorite Redken haircare and styling products, as well as Redken haircolor tools and gear.
