Relaxing Post-Industrial Salon Design

Boasting an “East meets South West” vibe, the sustainably-conscious Seed salon on the Fulham Road in London is one of three salons under the London-based Seed umbrella, owned by Yuly Massoni and Francesca Amantis.

The interior has an industrial warehouse feel, using scaffolding poles and boards; old speakers in their new guise as working stations; alongside an original fireplace and oven discovered under the plaster, by chance, when renovating. Features including exposed brick, quirky details such as mismatched graphic tiles and antlers by the backwash, stunning Davines product displays and relaxing beauty rooms combine to make it a heavenly haven for its discerning clientele.

Said co-owner Yuly Massoni: “We wanted to create a relaxing environment; a place to start new conversations, share ideas, grow and connect. We’ve also created an environment where you can get more than just a haircut with our sister company, BeautyM. We want our salon to be a big part of the neighbourhood, from baby’s first haircut to granny’s birthday celebration.
