Blue Tit Streatham: Enter a Zen-Inspired Haven

Wednesday, 20 July 2016 20:04

Blue Tit, one of the leading sustainable salon groups in London (UK), has continued adding to its ever-evolving salon group with the addition of its seventh stylish salon.

Housed in the heart of rising hotspot, Streatham –which has been hailed as the ‘darling of South-West London’– the area boasts more price-growth potential than Clapham, Balham and Brixton.

The salon, which launched this month brings its own individual identity to the thriving area, and is sure to be a favourite with clients looking to embrace the award-winning brand’s ethos: that a hair appointment is an experience – not just a transaction.

From Blue Tit’s initial salon conception in Dalston in 2011, the group has quickly evolved into a seven-strong salon group based within on-trend locations across East and South London.

The interior at Blue Tit Streatham was designed to represent the peace and tranquility of a forest and its natural environment. Clients can escape from the fast pace of city life and enter a zen-inspired haven. Geometric triangle shaped ceilings, stripped wooden floors, and tree murals add to the natural, eco-friendly appeal of the layout, and the abundance of wood ensures that the environment is homely and welcoming.

A standout design feature is the infinity mirrors above the cutting stations, which give a celestial presence, as well as clients an opportunity to be mesmerised by everything around them.

Blue Tit, which also stocks the sustainable haircare line, Davines, exclusively, adds a pop of color to its retail space with a wide range of the brand’s products lining the shelves. Says Director Perry Patraszewski: “We wanted to create a salon that was inspired by the natural environment of a forest. Wood plays an integral role in the Streatham salon, and offers a homely feel where our clients can relax in a very zen-inspired atmosphere. This overall concept offers the opportunity for clients to get their hair cut in a relaxing environment, inspired by the beauty of nature.
