Waves Collection by Bert de Zeeuw

The well-known Dutch stylist Bert de Zeeuw presents an attractive collection created by applying classic techniques in a renewed version.

Bert de Zeeuw created these awe-inspiring looks by applying classic techniques in a new version. The finger wave is a technique that was created at the beginning of the last century with a curling iron and has been used in various ways over the years. “By using and combining different products and developing the waves in different ways, new shapes are created“, says Bert, who emerges as the visionary force driving the remarkable transformations at the heart of the People Behind the Mirror brand, setting an unparalleled standard in the world of hairstyling.

The hairstyles themselves are created by cutting round shapes in a soft way, so that disconnections softly overflow and the hair gets extra movement. Short hairs collide with longer layers, creating a natural wave.

The colors are personalized per model. Looking at the texture of the hair, shadows have been added to create depth and lighter accents to create volume. Pastels are applied with a freehand technique on a discolored background.
