Dhyāna Collection by Marvin Lin @ Flux Reel Hair

Saturday, 19 September 2015 12:12

Dhyāna is to be calm in body and mind; Dhyāna is to stay in balanced mind. Dhyāna is a way to practice meditation in Buddhism. In Japanese Kamakura Period, Zen and Bushido got united to be “Martial Zen.”

An outstanding samurai should not only be great at martial arts but strict to meditation, and should be an ascetic person. Dhyāna just provides him with steel willness that leads him back to the most balanced state whenever he needs. An attitude to face the world was born from here.
