Rediscovering the Classics with Brynn Mihacevich

Saturday, 06 June 2015 13:10

How do you transform a classic hair style into something edgy and daring, almost as if seen through new lens? Brynn Mihacevich played with the texture, color and even added leather to achieve a transformation from a usual glamcity look into something entirely new, edgy and unexpected.

The idea for the shoot was for Brynn to create looks on 3 models using classic techniques like the brushed out finger waves and avant garde texture with a tail comb pin set,” said photographer & art director Sal Misseri. “There was also inspiration from some of the classic Sassoon cuts which we incorporated into the haircuts for each model.”
