Geikopunk Collection by Craig Smith

Wednesday, 24 December 2014 13:17

A journey through the evolution of the Punk Rock era. This artistically driven collection by Craig Smith juxtaposes the traditional tough masculinity of Punk with a distinctly feminine Japanese aesthetic.

The overall hair direction has a strong emphasis on the clashing of lengths and colors, the cuts in particular featuring raw finishes and experimentation with the boundaries of length and symmetry. In stark contrast, the make up has an almost geisha like finish, an aesthetic that intrigued and inspired Craig’s hairdressing style.
