Guardians of the Air by Salón Carlos Valiente

Monday, 29 February 2016 12:48

In mythology, sylphs are the guardians of the air – they are winged, but have human characteristics, with soft, beautiful features.

“My objective was to build the evolution of the sylph from birth to the adulthood,” explains hair creator Bernat Sayol, Salón Carlos Valiente. “The beginning of this metamorphosis starts at the deposition of a pearly egg, later the hatching happens to next step into childhood, where this nymph starts to show part of her wings and beauty. At last she arrives in the adult phase, where we can observe the constitution of a sylph in all her glory, with fully developed wings. This physique will last for the rest of her life, as she keeps herself youthful and beautiful until he end of her days.”
